The first front cover that I made was plan and dull with basely no colour in the whole of the front cover. This was because I did not really have any clue of what I was doing and how to take a good photo. Also my photography skills at this point where not very good at this time. And it showed in the first front cover that I produced because the image was really bad because there was no good ligating and it was on a plane and dull back ground.
The second and final front cover that I made was so much better than the first. This is because it has a big bold title that sticks out and grabs the readers attention. Also the background of this front cover has a big bright and colourful back ground with the earth in it. This was done to grab a readers attention on a shop shelf. Also the model on the front is holding a prop and is in a much better pose than in the first one. Some thing else is that as you can see that my photo shop skill have increased greatly over that time that I have do my magazine. Also with the skills that I learnt I could change the levels of the photo to polish it up and make it look more professional.
So by crating to magazines I have increased my knowledge and skills using photograph equipment and using programs such as photo shop. Also I have incised my knowledge of what needs to be done to make a good music magazine.
