Evaluation 1

1) Title- The masthead of my magazine is in the top left hand corner of the magazine. this is very common in music magazines. This is so when the magazine is on the shelf in a shop it can be seen and recognised. I chose a bold font in orange and this was to try and grab a readers attention. this is also very common among other music magazines they also have big bold titles. I also have used a drop shadow on the title this is to make the title stand out even more.

2) The props used- The props that i have used in my images for my music magazine the prop that have used on my front cover was a guitar controller for a video game. I did this to make the magazine front cover look futuristic to go with the image of the earth in the background. this is not very common in music magazines because in music magazines you will find real musical instruments.


3) The Font- The font that I have used in my magazine for the title and the contece page. The font that i have chosen to use is not very common in music magazines. And in all the magazines that I have researched i haven't seen this font used .

4) The Earth- The cartoon image of the earth in the background of my front cover. In all the magazines that I have researched I have not seen this done so I don't think that it is very common in other music magazines.

5) The Logo - The logo of my magazine in the top right hand corner of the magazine. This is very common in other music magazines.

6) The content - The content that i have put in my double page spread is vary common in other music magazines. This is because I used other magazine styles for inspiration.

7) The images - The images that I have used for my magazine and the way that the people are position on it can be very common. This is because i have used other magazines for inspiration and for it to look similar and professional.

8) The layout - The layout of my contnce page is common in some music magazines. But it is different in slight ways to the other layouts. This is because I wanted to try and create my own style of layout.

9) The people- The people in the images are set in poses that are common in music magazines. this is because I used examples from other magazines that i had researched to get inspiration for my images.
